I might mess with whatever they come out with next I enjoyed the other MTG console games, but I am not putting no 17 days into another Magic game. Not sure if any other duders played, but I am kind of sad to see it die, and so soon. I put a bunch of money (hundreds of bucks) into MTG Online a long time ago so maybe it evens out? That might explain why they are retiring it that and the fact that it is a buggy mess of a program that never worked well. The value never felt good, and I got enough currency through the daily quest grind. I also didn't put any money into the game at all. I wish I had that time back to put into other games, but at least I have the experience of grinding out a rare achievement (0.03% of players) and feeling nothing when it unlocked. The game was clunky and loaded slow but I still had fun with it until I made it a pointless slog. My Xbox says I have 17 days 8 hours played, and almost 1200 solo battles won, both of which make me a little queasy.
I finally got the achievement and I haven't touched the game since. Designed to complement the cards included with every new Magic Online account, the Deck Builders Essentials adds over 100 additional common, uncommon, and rare. For forums and blogs please select one of the BB-Code options. I played it on the Xbox at least a couple nights a week for a couple years after release.
Yeah, MMDoC is still the best.I should have feelings about this since this is by far my most played free to play game ever, and likely my most played game that isn't EverQuest or World of Warcraft. Still, I find myself logging in to pick up the daily reward, then I say I'll just play a couple games on a daily, then I realize I've played how ever many games it took to actually finish the dailies. the utter lack of communication, updates, or apparent direction becomes highly annoying. Problem is, MMDoC utterly blows all of these away, except. There are others, like Hex and Scrolls, and whatever else, I've never done more than just look at their sites, or watch an occasional twitch/youtube of it, but nothing in them made want to even try. This article will review a few of the new tricks. With a huge influx of new cards, there is a wide variety of new decks and strategies to try out, and the field has more breadth than ever. Magic Duels Origins I'm still poking at, if only because Magic does offer a nicely designed play system, and has robust and interesting mechanics, yet I can't really see myself sticking with it long term, depends on how/if they adjust the economy as new sets come out really. The combined release of Oath of the Gatewatch and Shadows over Innistrad is an exciting time for the Magic Duels player. Spellweaver I lasted a couple weeks and said, ehh.
Inferno Wars I lasted less than a day and wanted to puke on my keyboard such was my hatred of the style. Hearthstone, I lasted a couple days and said, no freaking way.
Not that I really want to leave MMDoC, but I can't resist checking out new stuff. I say just try something, chances are after a bit you'll miss what MMDoC is.
